Abuja MoU Announces the 15th Port State Control Committee Meeting

The Secretariat of the Memorandum of Understanding on Port State Control for West and Central African Region (Abuja MoU) is pleased to announce the 15th Port State Control Committee (PSCC) Meeting, scheduled to take place from 6th to 10th October 2025 in Conakry, Republic of Guinea.

This key regional event will be held at the prestigious Noom Hotel and will bring together Heads of Maritime Administrations, senior Port State Control Officers, and other key stakeholders to deliberate on strategic matters impacting maritime safety, ship inspections, and regional cooperation in line with Abuja MoU objectives.

The meeting is proudly hosted by the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Guinea, in collaboration with the Agence de Navigation Maritime (ANTAM) and the Abuja MoU Secretariat.

  • 3rd Bureau Meeting of the Abuja MoU

The PSCC Meeting serves as a high-level decision-making platform where critical issues such as inspection performance, port State control statistics, policy updates, and cooperative enforcement strategies will be addressed to further enhance maritime safety, security, and environmental protection in the region.
